I had just over an hour of tachycardia at home, running toward 200bpm resting, I called an ambulance when I realised I could not get it back down within a reasonable limit, paramedic in a car came, said "well this is a hospital trip", cannula in one arm constant ecg monitoring. Ambulance to Dorchester, then several hours in the admissions bit whilst they decided wether to give me a drug " to momentarily stop your heart" so it starts again in a good rhythm ![]() Scared the living daylights out of me. (not the goolie thing the heart rate) |
