how do you know when spring has started?

for me it was today in Weymouth when (it must have been an organized thing) 6 of the last style of MG convertibles drove past with the roof down. It was scarf and hat city but it must mean spring has sprung !

Saw an Ariel Atom V8 today. You wouldn't want to drive that in anything but dry, temperate conditions.

they must have had a long drive then cos they were also at Compton airfield, the destination for the Southern region Breakfast drive out today :D
