Going to France for 10 days middle of April, driving from Nice to The Verdon Gorge (Grand canyon du Verdon) unfortunately I did not have the 996 when I booked the trip, so I have hired a Polo from Nice Airport, I suppose it will be a good reccy for the 996..
I have never been to that area of France but judging from the pics, looks good..

We will be there at the end of May...
I've been told that there are roads to both sides of the Gorge.. one is very touristy and the other is not, I think you can guess which one we'll be taking? :bounce:

Been there a few times (rock climbing). The pics can't do it justice! you will have a great time. Watch out for tourist coaches and sightseers in clios, you cant afford to get it wrong on some of those roads :shock:
