Is it hard to track down service history through Porsche as the previous owner lost the service history to my 1997 Porsche 911 933 Carrera 4 Cabriolet when he moved house.

How would i need to go about trying to find out.??

Can anyone help me who may work or know some one who works at a Porsche dealership..

Please advise

If you know where the previous owner lived then try the nearest OPC(s) to where the previous owner lived. They are usually quite helpful if approached seeking genuine help.

That's what I did to verify certain aspects of my car.

However, I think Porsche changed systems in last 10 years so all may not be recoverable. Having said that only last 24,000 to 48,000 miles of history are really relevant IMHO.

See you at the Red Lion

tried to trace some of my cars history from sutton coldfield OPC they have evidence of it on their system, but unable to print it out as when they moved they changed their system, but they did say if i needed to confirm history to next potential owner they would verify it for me

Umm. wouldn't help me, not even to confirm or deny they knew the car  I know they did because I'd spoken to the previous owner.
