With no mobile phone signals at the True Lovers Knot Southern meet, it's the perfect place to get away and for any member to join us in a corner reminiscent of a Shakespearean Inn. It is a notorious meeting place for rebels - this month a rebel came from a GTI club, where the Germans censure members display cars that have been too improved, and a 911 rebel who improved early fuel injection by replacing it with carburettors. However, it's not just engineering, all subjects are covered - from jurisprudence, to purchasing, parking and maintaining military submarines on a Ford Escort budget. Barmaids who seem under it at the start of the evening are posivitely glowing and transformed after attention from the resident club women expert, if you need any tips on women. If you're using the Sat Nav you just need to remember that it can send you in the opposite direction at Wimborne, or into a field if you're coming from Poole. It's best to carry a landline in the car with you as otherwise you won't be able to contact the pub for directions. |
