OK just acquired a part worn off of E bay last Sat for the Boxster so I can match up the rears. Need to get it to tyre shop for fitting & found this is the only location it fits it! So what happens when I have a rear puncture & I have a passenger? Not even room for Becky to sit with it on her lap!

No doubt you will affix the spacesaver to the corner of the car, and need to carry the wheel home. Well, Becky, put simply, will have to walk!

On a deadly serious note and for anyone who thinks of this, do NOT carry a wheel/tyre in the car if inflated. I read a news story once when this happened, and the tyre exploded in the car killing the passenger. Beware!!

Tyre now fitted, very slow puncture fixed on the front & both fronts balanced. It is now hands off at 70ish whereas before it rattled your fillings out. It is going to OPC Tonbridge next Wed for a service. Coming back from Le Mans Classic we picked up oil at Carrefour & OPC have said they are quite happy to put that in. We'll find out what other gems they'll pick up on.

You're going to need some tyre repair gum, for when you have passengers :)

The Porsche one works very well. It repaired a sidewall split, which got the owner to Kablenz about 22 miles away. We were all surprised it did the job.

You may laugh but a Boxster roof carry system does exist from the factory for carrying loads like bikes & surfboards.
