OK just acquired a part worn off of E bay last Sat for the Boxster so I can match up the rears. Need to get it to tyre shop for fitting & found this is the only location it fits it! So what happens when I have a rear puncture & I have a passenger? Not even room for Becky to sit with it on her lap! |

No doubt you will affix the spacesaver to the corner of the car, and need to carry the wheel home. Well, Becky, put simply, will have to walk! On a deadly serious note and for anyone who thinks of this, do NOT carry a wheel/tyre in the car if inflated. I read a news story once when this happened, and the tyre exploded in the car killing the passenger. Beware!! |

Tyre now fitted, very slow puncture fixed on the front & both fronts balanced. It is now hands off at 70ish whereas before it rattled your fillings out. It is going to OPC Tonbridge next Wed for a service. Coming back from Le Mans Classic we picked up oil at Carrefour & OPC have said they are quite happy to put that in. We'll find out what other gems they'll pick up on. |

You're going to need some tyre repair gum, for when you have passengers ![]() The Porsche one works very well. It repaired a sidewall split, which got the owner to Kablenz about 22 miles away. We were all surprised it did the job. ![]() |
