Watched this on iplayer, really worth a watch.

To be honest, he was always a bit of a hero in my eyes, but now I feel even more justified in feeling that way.

Thinking out of the box and truly innovating is something engineers from all parts of the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are famous for. We just need to start being proud of it, not ashamed to blow our own trumpets and not to be afraid to capitalize on it.

We have and have had some great minds in the UK, but we tend to be shrinking violets when it comes to benefiting from them and exploiting them.
