Post subject:  Racing best line ??
I'm due to compete in a team-building Go-kart grand prix in the next couple of weeks, and as I drive a Porsche everyone at work is expecting me to win! I've got no racing experience but thought I could probably improve my chances by getting the right racing line around the track?

I know there are a few extremely good drivers on here so thought I would ask the question...

Any tips on the track below would be great, I've marked out the line and apex points I 'think' might be right.

the perfect line on paper is not always the fastest on track.
this might sound stupid but it works for me,you will be on the restricted four strokes so you dont want to lose to much speed by braking for the corners.(you take to long getting the speed back) you can turn in later than you think and faster than you will think possible compared to a car.
go faster than you believe turn in late, the slide will scrub the speed of, control the slide with a bit of opposite lock and you can go up the inside of the early brakers, blocking them on the exit. this is just one move but will build confidence and show how chuckable and fun karts are.
