Post subject:  Oldest 928 Driver?
Interesting little story.

Just got back from a rather nice holiday visiting a friend who has moved to Naples (Florida - not Italy).
We had a bit of a mini hurricane hit his neighbourhood and being charitable people, decided to offer his 84yr old new neighbour a hand, clearing up the broken palm branches from his driveway and roof.
Nice old gent, retired TWA pilot who started flying in the 50's. Opens his garage and along side a humdrum Ford/Chevy/Something saloon, is parked a really nice dark blue 928 GTS manual.
Still drives it and prefers the manual to an auto, had from new, never had any work on it apart from five (yes, five) aircon units (it's pretty hot down there all year!).

You know I have been waiting to see who would be first to make a comment........ still at least Sam is several years older than me..........but then the is always Mr Steve M 928GT... he's looking a bit haggard these days......... :D
