Post subject:  A Boxster modification

Well not a mod rather reversion to the original. I hated the smoked rear lights on the Boxster, fine on a dark coloured car but naff on mine. So a pair of lights off E Bay & an hours work gave me this.

Original are miles better! I think the smoked ones look chavvy, leave them to the Subaru scrotes! I keep thinking about going for clear lenses at the front but these cars are slowly becoming classics and I feel they should be kept standard.

Cheeky git, that is an incontinent 944 actually. And most of it stems from the first oil change on the TR7V8 when I owned it. Big size drain plug 1 1/4" AF meant a hell of an oil flow which the drain can couldn't cope with. One of those OMG moments as it all flowed over the brim & I scrabbled to put the drain plug back in :lol:

Don't call 'em chavvy even if they are! I'll be trying to sell them in a few days.....

Good luck with that, lets hope there's a Boxster out there that's got Burberry seat covers! :wink:
