I had a shot of a new Jaguar XKR-S at Knockhill yesterday. It was my first time on a track.

That's me in the bottom right and all the telemetry along the bottom. I quite enjoyed myself and had a shot of 5 different models. A good day out if you fancy that sort of thing. They did ask me to buy one, I said I'd get back to them.

was that a free day out? very nice!

Quite funny how you're putting your foot down on the accelerator, for the fun of it - rather than seriously test driving it to buy and your co-driver sounds a little scared!

Yip, a free day out. If they didn't want me to put my foot down, they shouldn't have taken me to a race track and given me free lessons from a pro.

It was a great day out and now I know a bit more about track days without having thrashed my own car. :D

I did my first track day at Donington recently.Great fun! :D Couldnt keep up with Clive in his special turbo of course. But it was nice weather, nice crowd and surprisingly laid back atmosphere.Had a fright when an orange warning light came on in the afternoon but it was only the low petrol light! I ll have to do that again!
