Hello
Been trying to get a decent insurance quote for my 944, the problem is can't find one that will cover fully comp when using a trailer. Any ideas

Who have you tried, and how?
I have had 3 944's over the last 7 years and to save time on loads of phone calls I create an e-mail with all the details that they usually require.
eg Car Reg, Where Kept, Fully comp, classic?, Mileage,
Your own details, Age, licence type, how long driving, experience, Points, Claims or Not! etc etc

I sent this off to 13 insurers for my 1st car.
Subsequently I have reduced the list but I find it has saved me a few Hundred Pounds , well worth the effort I find.

My current list is :-
Adrian flux quotes@adrianflux.co.uk [Had my Discovery insured with them so they might cover towing with your 944!]
AON (Royal & Sun alliance) :- ?
RH Specialist Cars division:- specialistcardivision@equitygroup.co.uk
Carole Nash:- Chaucer cars@carolenash.com
Classic Line:- info@classiclineinsurance.co.uk
Heritage Insurance :- quote@norton-ib.co.uk
Peart :- insurance@peart.co.uk
Peter D.James Limited :- info@peterjamesinsurance.co.uk (Been with these for the last 2 years)
The actual insurers are Equity Red Star (the same as some of the others above) so its well worth the effort in shopping around saved me well over £250/yr!

Might be worth a search on towing as I recall (OlberJ) posting recently about towing with his S2. Perhaps a PM to him may help.
