What a load of Idiots!
Well done that man lets hope the Police do take some action on it.
Worthy of a show in Police Camera Action (but not too many repeats!)

Hi All :)

Tonight I came back from Doncaster and was cruising at about 90 ..oops I meant 70 of course...

A foreign driver (French Plates) fell asleep in the middle lane and drifted over to lane 3 (my lane)...I saw his head nodding off just too late... I swerved to avoid him but he still hit my nearside mirror and twisted it a quarter of a turn in and dislodged the glass.....it was hanging down on the wiring, so I pulled over and fixed it on the hard shoulder..he didnt stop of course :(

To be honest I probably saved his life.... if he hadnt hit me he would have drifted straight in to central armco I think....

I then drove another 220 miles waching EVERY car in the middle lane very carefully lol :)

All the best Brett :)

Gosh that sounded a close call, glad you are ok.
You've got to be very wary of these LHD Foreign ones. After having a few scares myself I usually hang back a bit, then boot it to get past them asap!
(Easier to do in the Turbo than the Disco or Polo though!)

Spot on Clive, thats the best way to pass them, dont hang about alongside as they have a blind spot on the right hand side.

Sounds like a close encounter Brett!
