Hi guys I'm new to this forum & to having recently purchased a Porsche 991 996 Carerra 3.4L triptronic 2000 model & love it to bits. I've always loved the Porsche & now bitten the bullet & bought one. I'm thinking of buying a double din sat nav cd player - Alpine INE-S900R Advanced One look Navigation Station Unit, but not sure if this will fit in my car. Can anyone give me some advice on this issue? Do I have to have the temprature panel removed & the radio/cd player? I'm going to have a Auto Electrician fit, but asking some advice before buying. Appreciate any help |

Hi If its any help I recently bought a 1999 tiptronic 911 / 996 and it has a radio/Sat Nav fitted - its a Traffic Pro High Speed from Becker. It looks like an ordinary radio, fits in the normal radio slot. Only isse is the CD is a bit old and some of the newer roads dont appear, otherwise works well. I guess I could buy a new CD....... |
