Hi All,

If anyone is after a cheap track day helmet and not particularly bothered about brands, see the following links:

I think the Lidl flip up helmet might be better for track days. Get them while stocks last.

Hi :)

Personally I wouldnt wear either of those motorcycle helmets in a car...helmets are designed for very specific types of crashes...and those wont help a lot in a car crash....

As one famous American racer said.... if you have a 10 dollar head, then buy a 10 dollar helmet....

When you can get the budget open faced helmets (eg OMP) for £55 it is really not worth it. Though even those do not have fireproof linings so I will have to replace mine with one of the £150 ones.
