No not that, I asked about that and it's a definite no-no ![]() My beautiful wife Stefany is considering this car. It's very nice. She test drove it today and if it's still available on Monday she may go back and buy it. Any observations or criticisms or things to look out for are welcome. Thank you. http://www.fow.co.uk/vehicle_details.asp?id=89482 |

Looks good to me, surprised that it hasn't stayed in the OPC network. I drove one a couple of years ago & enjoyed it. Caymans are quite soft price wise so expect some more depreciation. Might be worth ringing your local OPC & seeing if they can tell you anything about it. Their website is as slow as slow can be so gave up loading pics! |

Actually having a quick look on autotrader the price looks a bit strong for the mileage, I reckon you could get an 08 for that money. Or a much less leggy 07 |

I waited on the pics, but Jim is right, they took a while. It looks good value to me, There is one near me at a dealer for £17,995 and it has over 100,00 miles on it and is over due a service. It goes a long way with me that our local Indy, Brian Miller, drives one. I've got pictures of it some where. He is a Porsche specialist and drives a Caymen. Not in my budget, but I would have one. Just get it checked. |

It's got 40000 miles on it, the last, and possibly only, service was at 20000 miles - or so the salesman said because I didn't see any paperwork. I've had a look around for info and if possible would like somebody to confirm that the 2007 2.7 Cayman / Boxster needs a 'major' service at 40000 miles. Also what is the type number? I'll check with the OPC tomorrow, but wanted to chat to Stef about it when she gets home later, so that she doesn't go down there tomorrow and buy it without all this knowledge. Obviously any due servicing costs will be deducted from the sale price. Thank you. |

I'd phone Brian Miller or Jon Mitchell for info' first on things like service intervals etc. Or if you know the OPC quite well? |
