Bit late but I've just dumped BT after loads of problems. The worst of which is a massive phone bill. Final straw was ringing billing & being put through to a call center in Calcutta. Every question I asked I got the same answer. "I'm sorry we can't help you with that at the moment. " Now with Madasfish. First phone bill £7 (Month) + £9 for Broadband. Runs as 6 to 7 Mb which is loads faster than I got off BT. Comes with a free NET gear modem & router.
Good luck with it!

never had any problems with bt infact they have been very helpful over the years. and Honest.

they have several times contcted us to tell us of ways/services that wuld be better/cheaper for us.

New Hub seems to be working ok. although for some strange reason we have to put the router on the floor instead of on the hall table. in order to get a good strength of signal.

I quite like the hub. It's actually just a Thompson Speedtouch 7 G in a pretty white box. Its quite a sophisticated bit of kit under the Friendly BT surface. You can also pair any DECT phone with the hub, which is pretty useful. We've been with BT for a few months now because one of my housemates works for them so we get it all free! I wish it was a bit faster though, bulldog was much faster.
