Hi Merry Christmas everyone
spent the last 2 days in the cold (I do not have a garage) fiddling with the car fitted new glazing seals and powdercoating the door handles .......after removing the doorcards I can only get the mirrors to move up and down NOT side to side....both OS and NS mirrors are the same (I only removed NS doorcard)......Any ideas ?????

Merry Christmas to you as well.

Sounds like you may have dislodged something in the process of removing the door cards. I'd take the door card back out and double check nothing is trapped anywhere.

I assume they were working in all directions prior to removing the door card?

Ben :bounce:

Your lucky you have mirrors. The glass in my nearside mirror fell out just before Christmas. (On shutting the door!) Water had got behind it & frost did the rest. Price for a new glass a shocking £85! Will have to ring JMG in the new year & see if theres are any cheaper.

Just ordered a pair of new glasses on ebay with blind spot mirrors inbuilt. See what there like when they come.
