Pay a tenner and scab a lift as a passenger - you'll still need your licence though.

Not the best turn out with only around 12 Porsches

1 x 944T
2 x 928
1 x Boxster
C4
964
C4S
2 x GT3
rest misc 911's too.

Damn good fun and harmless to the cars too...
What happened to all the 944's and 928's?

Stephen

What a fantastic day out, great fun once you got to grips with the fact you have plenty of track to stop in. :)

The turnout was a bit shabby but those that did turn up had more than their monies worth. For the Doom Sayers out there, all clutches remain intact and we all had plenty of runs.

Here are a few pics from the day:-

This looks like sometning I would like to do one year. The pictures look good Sean, but the surface looks shiney and you can see the reflections of the cars on it. This is making it all the more interesting to me. I think I'll need to try it out for myself.

I know it is not a competition, but do you lnow who was fastest?

Lee.

The surface is pure rubber, it is very grippy. The surface is so smooth you don't get any tyre noise, which adds to the strangeness of it all to start with.

Clive and I had a head to head which was great fun. The much heavier 996 Cab with more BHP than his 993 meant that he had me in first and second, then my grunt kicked in and I pulled away but he went through the speed trap 3 mph quicker than me.

Russ was quickest of the air cooled with a time of around 14.2, my 4S Cab came in at 14.2, Clive's best was 14.7.

Kerry and Tom's GT3 was in the high 12's and Richards 996TT with mods was in the low 12's.

Brett couldn't get the nitrous to owrk and ran a best of 14.7, not sure what Stephen ran.

Krish was still running in his TT Cab when we left so not sure what he finished with.

Sorry, poorly engine idles at 1300rpm and can't rev past 4000rpm or engine cuts out :(
I'll try for next time, in mean time got to get it fixed for Poole Quay next month.

Looks like a fantastic day was had by all and the weather was great.

:( I'm sorry I couldn't make it as I only found out at the last minute that I'd have to stay at home for a chippy coming back to finish off some work in my house. It's a shame because even though I probably wouldn't have run the car it would have been good to come along and see how it's done. I'm glad the weather was good for those that did attend and that you had a good time. :)
