How are you spelling" wine" :bom: we 911 boys apart from what Sean suggests about our plums, just don't need to rise to the bait. We are already driving the superior machinery :D

:?
The 928 is an all Porsche design and only ever built at Zuffenhousen.

Where does the interbred bit come from?

Hi :)

Ummm I think the price of a 911 being more than a 928 argument is a little fanciful when you can buy a Boxster for under 4 grand nowadays...

Actually the 911 generally will be a very good car, as soon as it gets the 2 cylinders that its missing....

I suspect they will get them in the near future as there is a theoretical limit to how far you can increase the capacity of any 6 cylinder engine....

All the best Brett :)

Has anybody put a v8 in a 944? With the gorgeous looks of the 944 and a v8 soundtrack,that would be brilliant!! :) :) :)

Not true actually, some of the largest engines in the world are six cylinders, although not running on petrol.

I hope mean a conversion with a Porsche engine?
It has been done in the states - mainly with American V8s.
Unless it was done with a Porsche engine it would be a mongrel.

In a 928 you would always look better than in a 911 but each to their own.
