Newcastle OPC had their launch on Thursday apparently, but didn't invite either club :(

I didn't get invited as club member - I think they sent out a blanket e-mail to their mailing list. As I'd purchased a key fob from them - I was on their mailing list :)

Silverstone was a nice informal affair
3 cars to pour over, champers & nibbles

yes, it's a big car

looks (to me ) much more co-herant in the flesh; needs to be lower though !

still undecided on the interior - looks 'Rover' to me in many areas, and Jag XKR in others
good front / rear room, though not a massive boot.
Door sills are high, as is dash - can feel a bit claustrophobic to my mind,

booked a test drive in the Turbo for next week.

Porsche UK had brought a raft of people along for the launch, including a tech bod.
Rare oppotrunity to have a tech guy from Reading with over 20 yrs of Porsche experience - managed to get all my questions answered, all very honestly too - quite refreshing.

all in all, well done Porsche & Silverstone - good job well done !

I wonder what the 3yr old cost of a Panamera will be ....?
