ok JJ,in 1965 Stewart drove the BRM P261 and won the Italian GP at Monza,he had 3 seconds ,a 3rd,a 5th and a 6th and retired in the rest. in 1966 he won the Monaco GP ,again in a BRM P261,he also scored a 4th and a 5th and in all the other GPs he retired.in 1967 he didnt win any GPs,coming 2nd at Spa,3rd in France at Le Mans and retired in all the rest of the GPs.That year he drove the P83,the P261,the P115 and they were all rubbish. For 1968 he got the Matra MS9 to begin with, then the MS10 and really started winning,3 GP wins, then in 1969 with the MS10,then the MS80 he took 6 wins and his first championship. Try and get hold of a copy of his autobiography "winning is not enough",its a fantastic read and a free
DVD with it.!

also,in the Tasman series he won 4 races in 1966 and 2 in 1967 all in the BRM P261.

none of the BRMs he drove were supercharged.supercharged GP cars were very much a thing of the past after WW2.

we watched some great supercharged Rileys racing at Cadwell Park earlier this year, look at our photo section on our regional website, the white car no31 the Riley Super Rat was fantastic to watch and listen to.You can see more like that at Donington on September 5th&6th at the vscc meeting.look at events section on this forum for details
