I'm not too far behind and I didn't think I posted much

211
[1.14% of all posts / 1.49 posts per day]

That will probably go down soon as I'm ignoring my 944 for a bit to save some money and I've found the joy of Fallout 3.

I wouldn't be ignoring my 944 if it worked but as it is I'm starting to get annoyed with it and short on cash now as I'm moving into a new flat in a month so playing on the xbox to stop me spending money on other things.

Ah the classic console's, I hooked up my Sega Dreamcast few weeks ago for a retro night some of the game physic's for driving games are still a match for today's consoles, simple controls, simple graphic's, good entertainment.

I like to dig out Gran Turismo 1 & 2 every so often, great fun. Got a Megadrive and a SNES lying around here somewhere too.

Anyone go back further? Commodore Amiga, N64, Spectrum 48k, Dragon 32k, Oric Atmos! Oh the memories when we could copy games on the Tape Recorder. Think a trip to Gamestation at weekend see what they've got for a fiver or so, just while the 360 Elite is cooling down  and the polish is drying on the '44 of course.

I'm hanging on to my C64 too. Great machine in its day that. Many a happy memory of playing turrican etc. :)

Wonder if they'll ever be worth serious money? Somehow I doubt it.

Used to have a ZX81 with a wobbly ram pack. Pixels the size of bricks. Built it from a kit & spent hours writing programs in Basic. Then loseing them on a poxy tape recorder.
Just sold some old kit on ebay & bought X3 Terran conflict! Should help pass some winter evenings. If my pc can cope. Might have to get the soldering iron out so I can up the voltage a bit more & push the cpu to 3 gig. Only way the wife will allow an upgrades if it blows up anyway
Best racing sim remains GPL for me. 1967 F1 complete with Jim clark & graham Hill. :alien:
