Having been in IT for over 33 years, I used to work on these things,300Mb & with a motor that was 10" x 20" & weighed around 40 lbs. We had a car sized socket set to change them.

I remember upgrading customers from 16Kb RAM to 32kB RAM & the Dec PDP 11/02 memory was £5000 (in 1980!)
