A 944 owner usually asks the model parking question after each show.

We had intended to have model displays at the show but had to change that plan mid morning when it was obvious we were going to be left with a big gap in the parking area. The 924 Club let us down after saying that they were attending.
We deliberately keep the show area compact so that it looks good on the eye. We could have put the front engined cars further back. I am absolutely certain there would be howls of derision if we had done that.
So what do you do? You treat all Porsches equally, love them for what they are and park everyone as they arrive in The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club way. This is proved by the Regional Parking Area. Members all want to park together by Area, not by model.
It is people that make a Car Club, the car is what brings us all together. The best example I have of this was at Gaydon we had a 911 GT2 (£140k) park next to a ratty 924 (£500). Both owners got out of their cars both checked the distance to the cars parked on the left and right. Then had a chat showing the other their cars and it looked like they both appreciated each others machinery
Great photo's thank you for sharing them.
