Hi Guys. Not been around for while due to health issues etc which started 18 months back. Been laid up all winter having ambulances, hospitals, ops, and about every type of scan there is. Think they just like experimenting on me. Some problems were cause by some of the drugs I've had to take, resulting in blood problems & breathing difficulties. Anyway, hopefully will be cleared later this month. Just parts of my body wearing out and thankfully not a disease btw.

Was well enough to get the car out yesterday and take myself for a test drive. That all went okay, so hopefully will be able to get around for the summer.

Keep on driving the '44. Life always seems better from behind the wheel. What am I doning selling mine? Have to put the baby in the passenger seat & buy a rail ticket for the wife......Or she could walk.........

Was good to get out. Had been waiting all winter for that first sunny day. Did about 70 miles.

Cople of issues when car was stored, started up about 4 time over the winter. Couple of weeks back - bonnet struts would hold bonnet up - but they was okay after the car was warmed up. Other thing was: Started car, revved it and the throttle stayed open, had to switch engine off to kill it. Found it was the throttle linkage under bonnet not returning. Was resolved with some WD40. Only two things I had to look at. So happy with that.

Maybe get out again over the weekend...)) :)

Red Rider, Good to hear your back in the Pork
Just got mine back on the road after 11 months. Last years MOT, Tax & insurance were wasted because of a back problem.
All legal again and fit enough to drive so out today for a couple of miles :D

Couldn't get out in the car today, so maybe in the week now. One of the ops has affected my legs. So to get them going I use the lawn mower as a zimmer frame. Sorta handy as the grass has to done anyhow... Lol. Also do the same with the supermarket trolley... :)

Damn. Was going to take the car out today and for the next few days with this warm weather - was looking forward to it. Just been to hospital and they say I must be admitted urgently at 2pm. Blood pressure has been going up for the last week or so and is now around the 220 mark.. That's the end of this weeks plans.... Seems I have some kidney issue which has happened since I had a big op last year.....seems there is always something *sigh*

Be back whenever...))
