 Post subject: External Hard Drive

As some of you will know I am not good with pc's or the peripherals, even I didn't need the instructions to use this.

I've just bought one of these to put all the club files on for the handover with Dave this week.

Western Digital (WD) Elements 160GB portable plug and play. It cost £49.99 from Curry's digital.

It's bus powered so no power lead, no cd's to upload to make it work.

The pc recognised it straight away and it is so simple to use, two clicks and your work is backed up.

Yep they are good. In the past I have bought just the case/controller as I had a decent HDD lying around from an old machine that was too good to bin.

Been using them for quite a while now - especially as the storage capacities being offered are huge :shock: for not a lot of money
