I went for a wee run today up north and managed to get these photo's. All that was missing was Poprock in his 944, maybe next time mate, we nearly had a full house. These were taken at the "Rest and be thankful".

Didn't rain once! It's funny how in the hieght of summer it pours down, but a nice clear day in winter? I was just a very nice day.

I didn't know that. He has to be one of the greatest drivers ever, and a really nice guy too. Just a farmers son who was good at driving everything. It is worth a trip round the country, if only you could garantee the weather. On a rainy day you wouldn't be able to see 100 yards, let alone right doon the glen! ( get me, an englishman using all the local lingo ).

Nice!

There were so many events on this Sunday. I missed ’em all because I stayed home to finish putting December's All Torque together. The things I do for you guys …

There was a huge Pistonheads run on as well, and the PCGB guys held a cleaning day at Glasgow’s approved Porsche bodyshop.

Still, I’ve had a good few weeks of Porsche fun. The race car display at the OPC’s GT2RS launch, testing a Boxster Spyder the weekend after, then borrowing an unrestored 356 the weekend after that! Great stuff.

The December mag should be on the printing presses over the next day or two. Not long to wait now!
