Thanks all!

As my car had been standing I have been spending all day today polishing my wheels - 1 down, 3 to go! But the one done, it looks beautiful!

Unfortunetely a while back my Fondmetal Porsche centre caps were stolen from my car :( so I've gone about modifying some MG Rostyle centre caps as they fit very nicely - anyone got any idea where I can buy some round Porsche badges?

I contacted Fondmetal and although they told me a little more about my wheels they couldn't provide me with centre caps as the wheels are "too old" for them to have any in stock. I didn't try the OPC as I thought they'd be useless - always have for 944 bits in the past :( Suppose it could be worth the trip?

Though I'm no where near to being able to afford this I have been investigating into at some time in the future doing an LS1 swap. So looks like I'll be saving up for a while!! Anyone know of anyone in the UK to have done this conversion? I know it's a big thing in America!

In the meantime I'm hoping to get to some Porsche events soon and possibly next year a couple of shows even? Can't see Pix' winning anything - being a daily driver after all but should be fun anyway!

I'll try and keep this thread updated with the things I am going to do to my car, as it may help new members to see a running report on 944 ownership as a daily driver. Hope this will turn into an interesting project thread too someday - though I need around £10000 to do the swap so it's not going to be soon!

I got my Porsche badges of eBay. They are ok, not perfect but for a couple of quid what do you expect? I'd start calling some of the breakers around. If they don't have anything in now, leave a number and if they come accross some they will call you for a sale. There are a few up here I'll ask for you.
