Just home from a great day out down on the west coast of Scotland with the guys from TIPEC. Today was my first meeting and I completed the official form to join. What a great bunch of poeple and a great day out. I wish I had know all about them sooner. I was like a kid in a sweetie shop with all the cars.

Amazing cars!! When you hear all the work that has gone into every car. I loved my 924, I love my 944 and one day I think I would buy a 928 ( there was one manual and auto there ) if I can. But one last time from the back as this is what most people will see. My favorite of the day.

Worth every penny - as I explained to my wife when my new membership card came through at the weekend.

I've saved way in excess of the annual membership fee just by asking for 'TIPEC discount' (doesn't work in Tesco though), and saved a load of money by being able to fix things myself after using this forum for technical info to help to find out what the problem was.

I had a good day out myself yesterday in the '44. After washing her, I went out and thrashed her to an inch of her life over Emley Moor. Not had that much fun in ages. :D The old bird has still got it.

Just back from holiday, in a log cabin up north, to find my nice new membership pack behind the door. I'll get to reading the magazine this week and look forward to meetings.

P.S. I'm glad I didn't by a tax disc holder, I'll be using my TIPEC one now. All I need is my 944 back.
