Yes I know this is tragic but it has snowed quite a bit here and I am waiting for my wife to have our first baby (4 days overdue) but am sat here watching "Columbo Cries Wolf" and I keep getting a glimpse of a 928 at the suspects mansion who incidentally is a playboy style character that owns a magazine called Bachelor world (plenty of bikini clad women)

Oh yes, the one where the bad guy has slept with every 'babe of the month' for 10 years... that's 120 nice girlies - I'm not allowed to watch it in case I get ideas with the girls from the WI . So while my wife is sewing the edging trim onto my new luggage cover, I'm watching the professionals 'Cry Wolf' episode - and the girl character is driving a W reg 924.... in a nice brown colour.

It's not as good as Holiday On The Buses that I watched this morning - that really was funny.

They really were classics weren't they. I got really angry a few years back when I read some snotty arse tv critic describe them as a "droll, unfunny 70s sitcom made into a film" Have these people ever had fun? they obviously can't relate to any of it as it's about real life and having a good time!
Did you know Reg Varney who played Stan was actually 57 when in that film today and spent the whole series playing a single 30 something, even more unbelievable is that Stephen Lewis who played Blakey was actually 20 years younger than Reg Varney!

And pretty accurate, my father & two of my uncles were on LT buses & all echoed that it was close to the truth.
