 Post subject: 944 buyers guide in ClassicCars

Received my October copy of Classic Cars on the doormat today. 4 page buyers guide on the 944 with reasonable advice for anyone looking for this model and good publicity mentions for the club with a few quotes from a very own Jim Hearnden :cheers:

Is that the session pictures you posted up a while ago? Transfered well to the printed magazine article 8)

Can't find the airbags in my turbo like it says in the article it should have as standard :?

Maybe in different markets or very late cars, the option numbers are
562 Airbag driver's side
563 Airbag passenger's side

Yeah thought it's probably a US thing along with the huge bumpers with extra indicators in them they have :roll: Just thought it's strange they worded it as a general specification all 944's would have

I owned a German LHD 944 Silver Rose (I bought it in Germany for spares). Unlike the British ones it had twin air bags and heated seats. The Turbo S 1988 Porsche Techic manual shows them too. The steering wheel is bloody ugly and my 928 has has the same type of wheel. :(
