There was a Panamera 4S at the Festival but it looked a bit out of place.

:)

Missed that on Saturday, was it out in the public car park!!

I don't want to be a grump or one of those people that moan. I appriciate the amount of time people put into organizing these sort of shows, and its difficult to please everyone.... but the PCGB show at Blenheim was a big disappointment.

I have only recently joined PCGB and was very much looking forward to the annual show. I scrubbed and polished the 911 in preperation! I actually invited along friends and family as I thought it would be a great day out, and frankly I was a bit embarressed. Maybe my expectations were too high, but then paying £30 entrance fee (per car) I expected a whole lot more! Even my friends in non-Porsches had to pay £30!

Firstly, the location was just a field behind the Palace (with extra charge to visit the Palace). To be honest, it could have been a random field anywhere, and therefore saved a lot on the entrance fee.

The side shows or entertainment were very poor. A fly-fishing demostration and a gun show!?!? Hardly car related and seemed very old fashioned. I am in my 20s (arguebly the members of the future) and there was very little to do. Again, appriciate you can't please everyone but what about a band, pit-stop competitions, 4x4 course, racing simulators, restoration demo, boucy castle, face painting, drag racing?

In comparision the TIPEC show was great. The entrance fee was spot on (no false expectations), plus it included entrance to the Museum. Good number of traders, and very well organized. Great work team!!

Hope the PCGB show can improve next year.

All the best,
Mat
