Hi guys

im selling my porsche wheel that have pretty much sat in my garage since i bought them about 6/7 months ago. bought with the intention of putting them on my mk4 golf. but bought them on an expensive whim not knowing the offsets. the wheels have no tyres with them. they are all in need of a reurb which i was intending to do once i knew the fitment etc.

they are brilliant wheels and i just wish they would fit my golf but it just wouldnt look right.

so the fronts are

18x8.5 ET 20

rears are

18x10 ET27

fitment is porsche 5x130 pcd.

the wheel are all split. i only bolted a front and rear to see how they sat. so nice and easy to transport. they all fitted in the boot of my golf without the seats down.

they come complete with all the nuts and bolts to assembly. i have done my best to clean these up but would benift from being done properly.

looking for £800

also can deliver at cost.

thanks rob

Hi :)

Another first post selling something expensive :(

Why am I not surprised...

Which Porsche model do they fit as thats a very low offset ?

They are not genuine Porsche wheels either...

They certainly will not fit any 928 model...

All the best Brett :)

i am a genuine seller, i would post more on the forum if i owned a porsche but i dont. i just thought a few porsche forums would be best in trying to sell them.

i know they are a low offset thats the reason im selling. looking a few other posts etc it might be possible they fitted the early 944 with those offsets.

when you say they arent genuine wheels how can you tell? im just asking as i would like to sell them as honestly as possible.

thanks
rob

Hi Rob :)

ALL genuine Porsche wheels have the size and offset stamped on either side of the valve.... so as an example, on my fronts it says 7.5 on one side of the valve and 52 on other side...

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

I am perfectly calm , but people who dont even have the courtesy to say hello first before trying to make money from selling something to us annoy all of us regulars....

Plus £800 for a set of wheels that are not even genuine Porsche is a ridiculous price......

All the best Brett :)

I thought forums weren't meant to be a slagging off contest.

How much do you think they are worth then considering they need a refurb?

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob :)

Those bolts are "meant" to be changed on a refurb because of retorquing ... from memory they are around £3.00 each... :( and there are a LOT of them....

How much ?? it depends if someone wants that particular style and offset....

Maybe £100...if they were refurbed and assembled..probably £300 to £400 ish.....IMHO...

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

I post here to help ALL Porsche owners...INCLUDING the people who may want to buy those wheels....

I do not like seeing anyone paying over the odds particularly from a poster with 3 posts...

Has HE helped anyone as I do...no...

Has he come on here expecting a fortune for some wheels that are not even assembled , which will cost a fortune to reassemble with new bolts and then be refurbed...yes...

I have a similar set of bolted wheels on my 928 and they cost me nearly £500 to be refurbed.....so what would you think that makes the OP`s wheels worth... ?

If Tipec do not like my posts I am sure they will ban me...lol...

Until then I will post as I wish thank you.

All the best Brett :)

P.S He does NOT even own a Porsche....

You dont have to own a Porsche, Part of the club spirit is that they welcome anyone, Porsche owner or not!

As for the wheels I am sure that people can make there own mind up. I agree with Mike Holmes, Leave the lad alone and keep your remarks to yourself.

Hi :)

Look..the lad had NO posts and thought he could rip off a Porsche owner because everyone knows Porsche owners are rich in his opinion....

The wheels were junk and overpriced drastically...

I have nothing against the person...just his attitude in thinking he could rip off one of us...

MY opinion is MY opinion... you don`t like it.. buy the wheels lollllll...

OR do you think the wheels were overpriced junk as well ???

Plus....it DOES matter if you own a Porsche here....as an example I sold a nice set of 928 slot wheels WITH good tyres for £200 ...and I know I could have got more elsewhere, but the person posted here and I thought that was worth discounting them....

All the best Brett :)
