One of my group found that OPC struts are cheaper or as cheap that the independents, with TIPEC discount.
If your local OPC won't give a decent price on them try John Hoskins at OPC Tonbridge 01732 361222 & tell him I sent you.
Luggage blind will be a ring around the breakers or E Bay I think. Why do you need one, if it doesn't retract they are repairable (sometimes :P ).

Hi Jim

Thanks for the reply - my boot blind doesn't retract anymore - I assume the spring/s has/have gone.

I'll follow up the gas struts advice - many thanks

Regards

Clarks garage has an article on luggage blind repair.
I followed this (im a novice) and fixed mine.

http://www.clarks-garage.com/ Look for garage shop manual and then cargo cover repair.

Alternatively - there is one for sale here: http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=8016

For the gas struts you can buy these from Eurocarparts for cheap.

I bought mine from Frazerpart Porsche around £25 a pair but I noticed these on eBay £10.50ea and £2.88 PP eBay item ID 300407944250. For the blind I would try to repair it as finding one that works is awkward but as stated before someone on this forum was selling one but blue I think.

New bonnet struts are cheap enough at GSF. Got a pair for mine. Beats banging your head every five minutes.
