On Ebay - £350 Porsche 944 Turbo Pistons - 100.5mm. (1) Brand New (May 2013) Wossner 944 Turbo pistons with rings / clips/ gudgeon pins; (2) For 100.5mm bore (pistons are 100.42mm); (3) For First oversize / rebore of stock 100mm bore; (4) CR 8:1; (5) 24.5cc bowl; (6) For stock 78.9mm stroke crank (2.5 litre); (7) Compatible with Alusil and Ductile Iron / Steel bores; (8) Custom Spec - May 2013 - purchased through Racer's Edge; (9) Pre-dates the Wossner pistons which were withdrawn from sale in the U.S. in 2020 due to coating failure Wossner sub-contracted their piston coating to Dow Corning, which changed their formulation in early/mid 2019 - resulting in the coating flaking off. Post mid-2020 U.S. Wossners are Alusil compatible as they were PC9 coated by Swaintech Wossner moved to a PTFE coating from 2021 onwards; (10) PDF's of the design blue prints available; (11) Cheapest New Retail £721. |
