Post subject: | Original Blaupunkt radio WANTED |
Hi there hope everyone is enjoying lockdown! I was wondering if anyone had an original Blaupunkt radio for sale. I've got a 944 turbo but would consider a period correct one. I think mine came with a Monterey which is my preferred choice. |

Hi. I've got a Blaupunkt Paris RCR42 from 1993 that's available if you are interested. It's the removable model with the lift up handle to pull it out. I bought it with the intention of fitting it to my 964 when I was restoring but then managed to find one from the actual year of my car and so didn't use this one. I bought it on eBay and was told that it had come out of a BMW. I then had it professionally serviced and everything is now working fine with the exception of one of the illuminated "bars" for the digital display. This is barely noticeable but I did some research online and it looks as if it is likely to be due to a dirty connector from the display. However, I never checked this because by then I had found the (much more expensive one) that I ended up fitting. It's in very good condition and comes with frame and rear connector block. I paid £80 plus £30 for the service so I'd be looking for about £100 plus postage. Check the photos and let me know if you would be interested. (BTW I've also got a Pioneer KEH3600 radio/cassette from the 90's that is fully working, complete with cage and in very good condition. It's got a removable front for security. I would only be looking for £20 + postage for that one) Cheers Trevor |
