Hi can any one help to put me in touch with a company that can repair my speedo the trip and mile oddmeter has stopped working I think it's the pod gears have gone the cars a 964 thanks |

I've Just done one ... where are you ?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had to make a new drive shaft as my needle was well and truly stuck ... G |

Hi Humphries - This is normally considered as a DIY job. It's quite fiddly but satisfying when completed! However, I am sure that there is a 'small business' opportunity vacant for someone as regards this repair, as it is not an uncommon problem but would not normally be entertained by your local garage. The offending/failure cogs are available for both mph and kph speedos, mainly from the US, at a reasonable price for all Porsche types. Dave CT |

Dunno about 'reasonable' - I had mine delivered from the US and is still cost me north of £35 for a tiny plastic gear ... |
