Passenger airbag deactivation bar for use in Porsche 996 and 986 models.

This bar is bolted to the passenger seat front floor attachment points and connects electrically to a socket under the passenger seat.

When the front belt clip from a Porsche supplied child seat or a dummy clip when using a non-Porsche seat is inserted, it automatically deactivates the passenger airbag.

Please note that the car's ECU will require "coding" by an OPC or suitably equipped specialist to enable the airbag deactivation function once the bar is fitted. Bristol OPC charged me under £30 for this (TIPEC labour rate).

The bar is in excellent condition and is supplied with the extra long mounting screws and the dummy clip for use with non-Porsche child seats.
