Removed this recently from my own 1988 2.7 944, only because I had the opportunity to replace the whole system for a full stainless one. However, after removal I found that the Stainless Steel Exhaust Back Box is still in really good condition with the only signs of corrosion been on the front flange and the section which the chrome tail pipe attaches to, as they are both mild steel parts. But, in my opinion it still has plenty of servicable life left in it and would be shame to skip it.

It has the following references on it and would appear to be an original Porsche supplied item from what I can tell;

944/2-4
944.111.041.03
12/97 (assume this is the date of manufacture!)

It may fit other models but I would urge you to check this yourself for confirmation, as I would not know!

Price £50, similar are going for £100 plus on Ebay.

As you would appreciate collection would be preferable due to its size, weight and arkward shape. I'm based in Warrington, Cheshire. However, collection from either the Cheshire or Northwest regions monthly club meets could be accommodated.
