 Post subject: WANTED - 951 Coolant Expansion Tank in Excellent condition!!

As per title an excellent condition, white as possible not yellow'd or too old, expansion tank wanted asap.

Pretty sure they are exhorbitant from an OPC, have you phoned & asked. They discolour pretty quickly so any s/h one will be a bit yellow.

I did last year and was put off by the price. I can't find the quote so asked again this morning and awaiting and answer. I thought for the money I could get a custom ally header made up as per 924 Carrera GTS

Sorry its a bit late but i'm sure there was a thread about putting the clear expansion tanks in the dishwasher with a tab inside it and it made a big difference to them

Might clean out the crud but it certainly doesn't make them any whiter. My issue is two fold, wanting a good rad cap seal in the neck and a clean tank in keeping with my clean engine bay. I painted my current tank black to avoid the yellowness. I can't be sure a used tank is any better at sealing than my current one.
