Let me first say that this is a tentative FOR SALE advert. It's more a "temperature check" to see if anyone is interested.
A number of months ago I bought a full (well, except the headlining which perished on removal) burgundy leather sports interior. There may be some VERY small parts missing but essentially it's complete. Lovely sports seats with no significant wear or tear of note, dash, carpets (need a clean, some wear in drivers foot well) and door cards - essentially almost the full interior. It's lovely although some parts like the gear gaiter and steering wheel let down the seats. The door cards were water damaged so I sourced a pair in amazing condition from Ebay.de and they arrived from Germany looking like they were (almost) new. Both sets are there now.
I was sure I'd use it for a project but it doesn't look likely now.
I made a 400+ mile round trip for this interior when my wife was away from home and squirrelled it away in the loft before she returned.
I am not desperate to sell it and I'm not bringing it down from the loft to dust off, photograph, advertise and potentially wait ?? however long for a buyer. It'll take up too much space in the garage plus Mrs S will be wondering what else I have hidden away...
So, if you are seriously looking..... drop me a note. I'm looking to recover my outlay only. I'm fishing to see if someone has this on their wanted list.
Paisley Freight are at quoting £45 for delivery but I'd prefer collection unless you were also prepared to contribute the cost of securely packing with rolls of bubble wrap etc.
Plans change so if no-one is interested, it'll remain in the attic! I may yet need it or I could bump this thread next year.
I think this could be an ideal proposition for someone with a minty silver rose who wants to store the original seats or someone considering a total interior change.
