Hi all, well I've come to realise that most of the guys on here seem to be Married or with Girlfriends etc. So, I'm just wondering if anyone is single (come on, hands up!) and would like a Porsche 'friend'? I'm youngish...and OKish looking! lol Maybe meet up for a blast (when I get mine back on the road) or something like that, rather than me being the 'third' party?

Now I'm wondering 'will I get any replies' lol

Cheers,

Kat

You missed out the bit about being old!

Don't worry if you don't get any replies Kat, they're an awkward lot....

I tried this before on here and didn't get anywhere, then again I shouldn't have been surprised - when I sent off to a lonely hearts club they sent my picture back with a note saying 'we're not that lonely'.

But Kat, I've already invited you over to mine to spend an exhilarating day changing my water pump and radiator. Am I not good enough for you? I'm 31, single, and I have a sizeable tool collection. What else is there to want?

Well with a heading like that "Body for sale" there's bound to be loads of viewings, but perhaps not too many replies
I',m a married guy who's wife doesn't drive and has NO interest in Porsche or sports cars at all, she had no option but to go in the 1st 944 I had when the Audi A6 broke
down on New years day 2005 and we really had to get down to Cardiff in a hurry. (She likened it to a white sledge :? )
She went in the 2nd 944 S2 Cab on a terrific summers day in 2006 but insisted on the hood staying up (oldies in a sports car huh :angel13: . Needless to say she has n e v e r been in the 944 Turbo I have owned since Jan 2007.
Afraid I can't offer any pennies for the body :flower: but I suggest you go along to local Tipec meets, as I do, for the good company and meet people who share the same PASSION ( erm :) Porsche that is) perhaps you may meet someone, you never know who you might bump into (TIC) , no sorry I meant meet.
Good Luck with the search from one Turbo owner to another :-
Clive (old geyser 68 next! but still madly in love Porsche 944 style :bounce: )

Will get back to you'll soon but I'm busy, have to help my Cousin at the Bath and West show for the first time :) I'll write again soon, when I'm probably 20 stone heavier because I hear they have great food there!

Great food at the B+W. Look out for the bbq from the Parsons Nose buch. Just heaven (unless you're veggie).
I did wonder about the thread title - wondered what had gone that could possibly necessitate such a drastic action!

Where can he mean with this "....and I want to get out and see some new parts of the UK and maybe beyond..."?

I didn't know there were any new parts of the UK, if there is they weren't on Coast on BBC2, and surely to go "beyond" you need a boat - not a Porsche  .

Steer clear Kat, if he's in-between projects it means he's unemployed and wants you to pay for the petrol....
