Very rare and sought after as many of you will know, this is only partially working but in very good cosmetic condition as can be seen, the fan only works on speeds 3 and 4, the demister works fine, and temperature control is a bit inaccurate too, seeming to stick on cold or warm (not hot). From a reasonably low mileage car so may be easy to get refurbed, or you could salvage the knobs and keep it as a spare, the knobs alone seem to sell for about £20 and up on Ebay.

£45 plus £5 postage.

£20? Need this gone, just taking up space. As it's partially working I dont want to bin it.

for anyone that has worn buttons this is good value. My heater worked fine but had worn buttons. So I bought a nice spare like this and refurbished mine. Its a bit fiddly but the knobs and buttons are all removable from the electronics.

Thanks Nick, yes it would be a shame to chuck it as the buttons and knobs are very clean indeed, mint actually as can be seen from the photo. Having had a few 968s with worn control icons I know how annoying it can be. I'm sure the control panel itself can be used as a spare too as it is partially working.

A few more days before I bin it. Not worth my time packing and posting if its not worth anything. I'll keep the buttons as spares in the event of a future 944/968.
