THESE WHEELS ARE NOW SOLD

I am selling a set of four Cookie Cutters that I bought to refurb and fit to my Porsche 944 (see Ebay item 270982795714) and as a new TIPEC member I thought it would be good to offer them here too with a discounted price of £100 (without centres) and to be collected from NW Leics (nr J23 M1 & J13 M42).

When I bought these they had been sprayed silver all over and I wanted them to have black spokes with the bright brushed steel finish basket - so I spent many, many happy hours removing the paint from the basket on them all by hand. Then they went into hibernation for the winter and now I have managed to source a set already refurbed - so these are up for sale.

I had a price for these to be refurbed the way I wanted them and they wanted £90 a wheel - so I have (part)done it myself and now you can buy them, finish them off and still end up saving.

All that is left to do to finish the refurb is a light rub to remove winter oxidation to the baskets, spokes painting and then laquering all over - I'd guess at about three to four hours work for someone - but not me!! One rim has a approx 3" scratch which is not that noticeable but I want to be honest, otherwise the wheels are unkerbed or damaged

The wheels are fitted with 2 Michelin and 2 Goodyears and whilst they have tread on them and look OK I would recommend that they should be replaced as I do not know how old they are or their history.

The wheels are all 15" with 7J 15 H2 and ATS cast markings as well as the original Porsche part number and manufacture date.

Once I get the hang of this forum I will post a proper signature but I have an original, unmolested 1988 944 in Alpine white with the 'period' maroon interior. My daily driver is a Mercedes C200K saloon.
