Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me to find a set of main crankshaft bearings at +.5mm or larger, a set of big end bearings any oversize and a set of pistons at +.5mm or larger for my 1978 Porsche 924.

I would consider a set of used pistons if new not available.

Best Regards from Tyneside, Barry

If the 924 motor was derived from an Audi 100 unit could there be a chance that the pistons and other engine internals might be common as well, maybe this would open up more scope for finding a replacement.

I know this is an old thread, but for what it's worth, the worldwide supply of 924 main bearings was depleted about two years ago. Through collaborative efforts on 924board.org, we were successful in getting King to do a run of bearings. The OS bearings are sold out again, and not likely to be produced again any time soon, but we still have access to STD bearings.

RE: pistons, we can also have custom pistons done up in any configuration desired. Send me a PM if interested.
