Now my S2 Cab is back on the road I need to sell the '86 944 8v I have used as my daily runner for the last 18 months. It's got a new MOT but is now SORN'd. It's in garnet red metallic and has black pinstripe seats and pearlescent finish teledials. The driveshafts have just been replaced, the steering rack and pump were replaced just before I bought it and it recently had the sunroof motor and gears replaced. It also had a new battery about a year ago. Now the bad bits - there's a slight colour mismatch between the sunroof and the roof and a couple of minor dings on the bodywork which should be easy to sort. The front seats have no tears, holes, etc., but theres a little damage to the bottom half of the rear seat - these are regularly advertised on ebay for not a lot so easily sorted. The sunroof mechanism needs adjusting to make it work properly, the hrw doesn't work at present as the wiring needs fixing after I replaced the hatch struts, and the door mirrors don't work at the moment. It's a good useable daily runner and I think £1,995 ovno would be a fair price. Hopefully the image I've tried to attach will appear! 3aaa_1.jpg[/attachment] |

....I forgot to mention the dash has some cracks but I have a really good spare dash for a further £50 if required. |
