CAR NOW SOLD.

Hello guys,

I have my heart set on a 993 so have decided that the Cayman must go! Details are as follows:

It is a 2007 2.7ltr 5-speed manual Cayman in Basalt Black with 22987 miles.

I have owned the car for just over a year now. I bought from a fellow pistonheader when he retired and then it had 5040 miles (that is when the first service was done). I've used it day-to-day throughout the four seasons and sometimes all four at once! It has been perfect. The car gets a good mix of motorway, main and country roads which is why I chose to have full coverage paintshield protection film applied to keep the paint in perfect condition.

In my ownership I have had the front brake discs and pads replaced (with fluid replacement) and two new rear tyres.

I have a gallery of images here:

http://picasaweb.google.com/10907820762 ... directlink

The car has 12 Months MOT and 6 Months Tax as of 29/08/2010 and has the following options:

1. Basalt Black.
2. Cayman S 18in Alloys.
3. Sports Seats.
4. Heated seat option.
5. Porsche Floor Mats.
6. 6x CD Changer.
7. PCM 2.1
8. DVD Satellite Navigation.
9. In-car phone prep with sim-card slot.
10. Cayman S exhaust tip (added by previous owner).

I have added:
1. Full coverage Paintshield Protection Film.
2. Dension Gateway GW51M02 Unit.
3. Zunsport front radiator grilles.

The car also has a private plate (purchased by the previous owner for £800).

Service history is short and sweet with the first Service at OPC Swindon on 18th August 2009 at a mileage of 5040 Miles.

Some other points are
1. Second minor service is approaching under the 20000 miles or 2 year rule.
2. There is a small mark on the front bumper that someone in a car park kindly added. I don't notice it so I haven't been too concerned about removing it.
3. The MoT has an advisory on front tyre tread - there is about 1500miles easy use in them I think.
4. The car is still being used during the week so the mileage will increase. (around 300 mile per week.)

Thanks for looking.

Very pretty. But you don't say what you want for it. :) Or does it meant that if you have to ask you can't afford it.

Doh!

I don't do I? That'll teach me to proof read!

Yep, it is the one on pistonheads - I have had a bit of a splurge on advertising it so you may see it around!

I am looking for around £23500....in fact I'd be very happy with 22k if it means the minimum of hassle.

Thanks for linking to the pistonheads ad RedRider it is greatly appreciated.

Might be wrong but if it is a 2007 with 22900 miles and the first service was at around 5K miles, you mention the next minor service is due 20K or two years surely this is overdue by a year and around 3K miles.

May be being picky but if not me then someone else who may use it as a lever against the asking price with a minor service around £500 and the 4 year major one around the corner.

Well, it is every two years or 20k miles following the previous service. First service was August last year so another year or around 2.5k miles before the next service.
