2008 (08) Porsche Cayman S 3.4 - 987.1 – Manual Wonderful to drive and own, the 987 Cayman is a fantastic car to be enjoyed and an appreciating modern classic. Exterior is Arctic Silver. Interior is Cocoa with extended leather. Mileage is 48,291. Factory upgrades on this vehicle are Sports Seats, Extended Leather to doors and dashboard, Automatic Climate Control, 19" Carrera Classic wheels, Sports Tailpipe. I had the stereo head unit upgraded in 2020 to a double-DIN touchscreen Pioneer SPH-DA230 DAB that can use Apple Carplay or Android and so offers full handsfree telephone/messaging integration and also satnav via Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps etc. I have retained the original working head unit, so a buyer could return the car to it's original specification. Last MOT 14th December 2020. Can be renewed prior to sale. Full service history, mostly Porsche main dealer then one (major) with a BMW specialist at 41,564 miles on 02/05/20 and the latest (minor/oil service) at 42,967 on 13/01/21 with a Porsche specialist (SCS Porsche). The vehicle has a two-year interval but I am overcautious. Drive belt replaced at 41,564 on 02/05/20. Bodywork is excellent. The front bumper, bonnet and wings have been resprayed this year by a Porsche Approved bodyshop (Dick Lovett Swindon Bodyshop). New OE PPF panels on rear haunches fitted as the originals had yellowed. Normal minor stone chip grazing to front part of rear haunches. No other scuffs. Fully machine polished and ceramic coated earlier this year when the respray was done. Wheels immaculate, professionally refurbished by Porsche Approved wheel specialist. These are ceramic coated too, inside and out. I have the wheel locking nuts and tools. Tyres all Michelin PS2 N-rated, all with 2mm+ depths. No damage to any. No mechanical or electrical faults. Car given a bore scope and full inspection by local Porsche specialist (SCS Porsche) at the beginning of this year. All clear and the only item they found was the need for a replacement manifold bolt and that was done immediately. They also upgraded the thermostat to a low temperature one, to further protect the car. New clutch December 2019 plus rears discs and pads, all fitted at Porsche main dealer. The car is great condition No mechanical or electrical faults. Ready to enjoy or retail as it is, with no repairs or other work needed. I have retained the original working head unit, so a buyer could return the car to it's original specification. The car was valued at £20,000 at the start of 2021 by Porsche Owners Club Great Britain.
